Notice the request is for "official" copies.

Marla,

First, let me assure you that I will not be mentioning anything about esd15.org. That matter, as requested by Grace Han Stanton of Perkins Coie, LLP, will be handled through her. This email is sent to you as the District's public records request designee.

I am writing to request an official copy of one email sent by Marla Miller on Sunday, June 26, 2005 at 12:47 PM to 'Mike Raskin' with the Subject: RE:ESD Purchase. I also seek an official copy of his original message to 'Marla Miller' dated Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 5:15 PM.

For future reference, am I to request emails individually, by date and time, or as an entire collection. I have 84 requests for email messages on this topic and would like to know the format in which you prefer to receive them.

To save time and paper, you may forward them to
mark@esd15.org.

Have a great weekend.

Mark Zandberg

I just sense massive bitterness. If you are so intent on being professional. This is the exact opposite of that. This is exactly like kindergarten'ers bickering. You are no hero. You are no martyr. I pay my taxes like the next person. We know government doesn't work. But like a lot of things, you can't live with it and you can't live without it. Move on, live life, enjoy it.

We all pay taxes but we don't all have to sit by and watch preventable disease cripple us.

As far as moving on, I still live in the District and seek to contribute in a positive way. People have a right to know what is happening. Once they have the facts, they can choose to ignore them.

If you live by the motto "Ignorance is Bliss", stop reading my blog and go watch television.

Funny, the internet is populated with political blogs placed by hired professionals to advance the ideas and interests of their parties. To call this blog unprofessional is the voice of a luddite.

Furthermore, to tolerate the loss of approximately 9 million dollars combined in both the Operations and Capital Budget in one year in my book goes beyond incompetence to an egregious moral crime. These education dollars are our investment in our children and the future of our society. To chalk it up to “government doesn’t work” and “move on” resonates impotence and complacency; traits of a sheep and blind follower.

Does anyone have public email addresses for the school board members? If not, is there another way we can contact them directly?

Silence is a form of complicity. Thank you for speaking out.

Have you gotten the records you requested? If not, what are the next steps?

The District is following standard protocol, which is to wait ten days and pray the requesting individual forgets or gets hit by a bus.

I will post their response.

thank you for the board information. I have asked for email addresses and never received them. I think all district employees should have business cards for all the bd. members or at least have access to them at the reception desk. Keep up the work and I hope the community will get information before we are asked to vote on more $$'s. I have been sharing your blog with my friends and neighbors. I heard Marla is tired of hearing people say they are tax payers. Guess she doesn't like being asked the hard questions because for years she has done as she D--- well pleased.

The 10 working days have passed. Did you receive a response? If not, what recourse do you have?

Have you gotten the records yet? I'm sure we would enjoy reading either the district's response or the records themselves.
