And then there were four.

Breaking News

Blog reporters claim that a resignation was tendered this evening at the school board meeting. Unfortunately, the vacancy will be filled by appointment and the candidate will be selected by the current board of directors - two of whom will likely not be holding their seats much longer.

Stay tuned for updates through the remainder of the week.

So how do we get started in making sure Noble and Shields aren't re-elected?

Appearances on television might have an impact.

At the very least, share what you know with the blog so issues can see the light of day and people can be informed voters in November.

"How do we get started in making sure Noble and Shields aren't re-elected?" Vote for change! Vote for Alan Weiss! WORK to get Alan's name and campaign issues out there where people can hear and see them! I don't think the Weiss campaign has the financial resources of the incumbent - Alan has to count on those of us who are fed up! I think you can contact him through his website -

alanmweiss4schoolboard.com

and let him know you're willing to doorbell or wave signs or stand in front of grocery stores. Help - this is a People's Campaign!

Who in their right mind would take the seat and be associated with the current members?

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

APPLICANTS SOUGHT FOR OPEN EDMONDS SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD POSITION

Longtime Edmonds School District Board member, Dr. Bruce Williams, has stepped down from his position on the School Board.

The legal requirement to appoint a new board member within 90 days makes the deadline December 10th. Alan and Jon will not be involved in the selection process.

If they choose poorly, we'll just ask Kirsten to launch another campaign.

I think we can join Alan Weiss's campaign by going to his web site. Do you think he would do a guest posting addressing our issues?

Based on the results of the primary, we have lots of work to do to defeat Noble in the general election. Does anybody have information about his opponent?

An important first major victory in your pursuit of truth.

I surmise that KING 5 has finally pressured you enough to accede to their wishes that you be interviewed. Best of Luck! It will be interesting to witness how the District (Nick/Marla) responds in their predictable quest for equal time and self motivated necessity to counter.

It is important for us to remember that this is not about losing for people their positions or their jobs but about righting wrongs and helping to secure a better future for the majority. But please don't confuse this philosophy with taking the High Road. Moral superiority surely exists but it can't be waved like a flag at a Board Meeting. The ongoing suggestion of it in more subtle terms will engender a general acknowledgment and communal acceptance that it is ours to possess.

There is still so much to do.

Do we still have to look at Dr. Bruce's picture on your blog now? Or can you draw a line through it?
