Look at Sara Conroy 90k then look at Donovan Bray 80k. I think we can do without Sara Conroy!
It's time to buy stock in the school district.
I'd like to note that SHIT and FAN are finally meeting one another at the E$C. I think that the other financial problems and irregularities are going to pale in the face of the storm that is brewing.
When you run the over $50,000 public records request in the fall more then a few of these names are going to be gone and not because they want to be.
Of course the sacred priests will still be in attendance. But there will be a LOT less altar boys.
I think we all have invested enough to this point. Don't give them additional funds that they will piss away.
I believe that I have four names on the list who are actually worth their salary, and one is leaving the District.
Shelly Dearmon @ $70.5k (WTF?)
Some of these salaries have really gone up over a very short time! A few are making over $30,000.00 more a year than when they began. Teachers and staff income does not reflect this. Who's running this madhouse?
You left off the attorneys and whoever has been hired to read this blog that make a hefty income from the District. Remember, everything is being read, analyzed, shared and action is taken to remove or cover that which may be incriminating amongst the items that appear on these pages. I'm sure they are making attempts to discover who is writing this junk. Well, I'm sure it isn't anyone whose name appears on the previous page.
Who is Sara Conroy; and what is her position? Thank you.
This is shocking!! I am really curious how these slaries compare to similar positions in other districts in the state
I have absolutely no problem with people making $90K or $135K or even $202K. But they have to be good stewards of that compensation. Is it too much to ask that people show up on time, stay at work until the shift is over, treat people fairly, and try to get along?
Sara Conroy was a Food Service Field Supervisor and suddenly her title changed to Operations Manager and so did the salary. No she did not have to apply for this position it was handed to her. Like most Food Service employees they start out as a dish washer and move up the ladder but most don't step over bodies to get there. Sounds like a district theme.
Look at foodservice: Head 101K. ASST to the head 90K. ASST to the ASST 45K. books person 50K. Office manager 40K. Kitchen Girl 30K. Free Lunch person 35K. I think we can get some money out of this Dept and they get free food.
New email from Miller.
Buget cuts agian, because the people in management need more money!
Management you need to start cutting your jobs before you cut the pee ons. whos going to do the work?

Student Services, man they got a big buget. I see cut up there.
It is true. Many of these people on the list do not put forth the effort. That is terribly discouraging. Having had the opportunity to work for some very driven people in my life, witnessing some of the crap that goes on in the district hurts me bad. Maybe some of you don't have kids of your own, or you simply were not brought up to work hard. I really don't know? Please keep in mind that you might be inhibiting somebody else around you, who is trying to make progress. Me for starters. Thank You.
This comment isn't for this blog posting but a general note for Mark.
Hey Mark,
Couldn't figure out how to send you an email anonymously so I thought I would tell you here that the rats are reorganizing the ship rather then dump expensive rats during the budget cuts. In one case, they "want to keep a person" even though this person has NO ZERO NONE of the qualifications needed for the job they have "earmarked" for her so she can stay. It seems to be the rage. If "they" like you, they try to keep you at ESC, even if your job is about to go away.
Is Chuck on top of Katie for any particular reason?
I just reviewed the salary list for the umpteenth time; I just cannot even imagine that Chuck Penney makes exactly the same salary as Katie Sherwood, who has worked for the District for many years, and the "Porn King" comes in at the same salary and is never at his job, plus drives around in a District vehicle? I am retired, and live on less than $30,000 per year and am sickened by the numbers I see here for salaries. I have petitioned the Snohomish County Assessor to ask for tax relief for school taxes/levies. I WILL NOT SUPPORT this type of spending.
What could Chuck Penney possibly accomplish at the warehouse? He is always over here. What does he do? Was Stuart over here that much? I just don't recall him spending the time here that Chuck spends. Gas is cheap though, right? If Chuck is the Porn King, what does that make Tracy? Proud, possibly?
O.K. Give it up on the porn king. He will screw up again soon, and then they will nail him (no pun intended)
This is the only reason Chuck Penney is employed at a school district. He is able to collect an easy paycheck. He has never worked an honest day in his life.
I am no faculty or ESC staff - I am just a student at an ESC school. I agree with your complaints that there should be a more even distribution of wealth, but I do think that as adults, staff, and role models, a few of you need to be more respectful. Please use the English language properly, and don't just wildly insult people. Let's use proper arguments instead of ad hominem tu quoque fallacies. Peace and Love!
Good luck with evening out the salaries!
I've worked with Beverly Cartwright for a couple years, and she works REALLY hard. I'd actually be surprised if she worked for less with how much she does (especially overtime).
I'm a teacher who just got laid-off in this district, but I'm going to agree with the student who said that it's a little shocking how disrespectful people can be on here. I wouldn't care to listen to complaints presented in such an immature way.
